Hera stood in front of a mirror and looked at herself in the dress she'd selected for this. It was off white and flowing and long and it looked like it belonged on Olympus far more than it belonged on the streets of New York. Maybe it was too much? Maybe it wasn't enough. She had no idea what Persephone or Amphitrite would end up wearing and as the hostess of the gathering, she wanted to be... herself.
When the knock on the door came, she broke her reverie and kissed Zeus's cheek, bidding him to stay where he was. This meeting wasn't for the kings. He could greet the fellow women later, after they talked and figured out where they were in life. Walking down the stairs, she ran her fingers through her dark hair and then opened the door.
"Lady Persephone. You're a welcome guest in my house. When Amphitrite arrives, we will take the gate to Olympus and I will make sure you are both treated as the queens that you are while we talk." Moving aside she let her into the near palatial house in New York that Preston had purchased. "I confess I have no agenda for this meeting, but I think it's important we are all on the same page in this new world."
