"People all but forgot about us for a very long time," Persephone sighed. "We basically didn't exist." She lapsed into silence as the waitress came back, watching to make sure she was out of earshot before continuing.
"I know you wouldn't," she answered, leaning back from the table and crossing her ankles. It hurt her back to sit up straight all the time, ironically enough. Made her feel stiff, and that was not the vibe she wanted to give off right now.
"Did you see that Nyx was holding a party?" she asked, pouring herself another cup of tea. "I know those aren't usually your first choice, but perhaps we might go and say hello."
