Attention travellers! The TARDIS has landed. I repeat, the TARDIS has landed!
Right, now that I've got your attention, we've landed. Yes, I'm repeating myself a bit, but I needed to make sure everyone was paying attention. Now before you all rush off to get some air, there's a few things I should let you know about where we are. And I know this place well enough. Trust me, you'll want to pay attention to this.
The Shifting Bazaar, Orientia
We're on the planet, Mort. Don't worry, we're nowhere near Mort city. We're actually in Orientia. The Shifting Bazaar to be more precise. And yes, it's called the Shifting Bazaar for a reason. It moves. The streets move about in the same sort of way that the corridors of the TARDIS move. And yes, it's just as annoying to predict.
Here are a couple of pictures.
Indoor market

More outside
We're stuck here until we can find some bits and pieces to get the TARDIS up and running. Not much, she's usually pretty good at self repair. Unless... this one is different to mine. Either way, supplies are needed and I'm sure some of you wouldn't mind getting out there and stretching your legs, seeing what this universe has to offer.
First of all, I need to let you in on a few things. Important things. So pay attention, please!
1: It rains on Mort. Constantly. It never stops. No one really knows why that is but that's the way it is. It's not so bad in Orientia, a bit more of a drizzle, but still, if anyone has trouble dealing with rainwater, and don't laugh because it's known to happen, then take an umbrella or something.
2: As I've said, the bazaar moves. Make sure you're with someone if you can. It's better to have someone with you than be alone around here, trust me. I've left a few things for people outside their rooms. One is a tracking device so you can get back to the TARDIS. it's not fool proof but you have more chances getting back with it than without. And secondly I've left cred sticks.
3: Which brings me to my third point. Credits. That's the currency around here, especially with worlds controlled by SLA Industries. Like I said, I've left cred sticks. They've got a few thousand creds on them, and if you want you can trade with people. Just be careful, some of them are likely to try and scam you for everything you've got. And I don't want to find out any of you lot have been attacking shop keepers! I'll get to why soon enough! You can get pretty much anything you want at the market. Just don't buy anything stupid. I'm not dealing with flying cat squid again, they are not friendly! And please refrain from buying anything too high tech, we don't want to be tracked.
5: No wait... sorry...
4: There are a lot of different types of people. A lot of whom none of you are even going to recognise. You'll find everything from humans like you lot, to Brainwasters, Ebons, Wraithraiders, Shaktar... I'm missing something. Anyway, there are a lot of very different creatures out there. How you act around them matters. There may be a variety of humans, travellers from a variety of worlds in the planet. Most of them under the control of the great Slayers Empire, of course... Anyone who stands against Slayer? Well that's different all together. And not important. Not yet, not now.
5: If you see anyone who you think might be watching you, send a distress signal using the tracking device. It's simple. Three clicks of the button will send out the signal. They won't be able to hear it but anyone here on the TARDIS will. That's the important thing. There are agents everywhere. And it's not just Mr Slayer that has his eyes here too. There are gangs. The local Triads for example. They're easy to tell apart from the rest, dragon tattoos, that sort of thing. But Mr Slayers eyes are the ones you need to be the most careful with. Right now, he shouldn't know that this TARDIS is even in this universe let alone you lot being here so we're safe. If any of you lot find yourselves in Fort Chimera, well then... you're probably very stuck. That's the prison. No one escapes, and I mean no one. So don't get caught doing anything, stupid or otherwise and you won't find yourself chained up in that awful place!
If you have any questions about what I've said, please ask me before you go walking off blindly. This universe is unforgiving... But it's my home.
I'm sorry you all had to be here... especially now.
