I thought we spelled better than that in His Majesty's Navy, Mr. Bush.

William, are you really here? This is wonderful.

- H. Hornblower.

I know, isn't it incredible? If I thought I had the hope of understanding, I'd get someone to explain how these things function at all.

It might be easier for me to find you, Mr. Bush. I've been here a few days, now.

Oh, it's wonderful that you're here, Mr. Bush. All these people are a bit... mad. Nothing harmful, that I've seen, but... so very difficult to understand.

Welcome, Mr Bush. I am Lady Mary Crawley.

It is somewhat baffling at first, but yes, it can be used to communicate. I don't fully understand why the letters are in this order, if I am quite honest. You will soon learn where certain keys are, I'm sure.

I'm sure you'll pick it up in no time.

If you wish to erase anything you typed in error, the top button on the right hand side of the keyboard - the one with the arrow pointing to the left - will do so.

It was nothing, Commander. I was happy to help.

Your lieutenant? I would say it is a coincidence, but this ship does like to bring connected people on board. I'm glad you will have a familiar face around.

That is very good, it makes such a difference having friends on board this place. Mr Crawley - my husband - arrived some time after me. And I find myself much happier since he arrived.
