Thankful that she had convinced her mom to let her go back to the dorms Maia was now relaxing comfortably, as much as she could, in front of the window watching the now falling snow.
It wasn't that she had never seen snow before, but this was Georgia where it didn't typically snow in the winter and certainly not this much. Of course Maia wasn't going to complain about it, she didn't have to go to class, she didn't have to see much of anyone except who was in the dorm with her. The one person she wanted to see wasn't there at all, his things gone, and again she was alone in her room.
It was probably for the best, Sam moving out, not that she would ever admit it to her mother or Tom. Maia knew that from what she had seen in her vision and what she had experienced knowing Sam Winchester was dangerous, but this knowledge didn't make his moving out any easier. So much so that Maia found herself avoiding the now largely empty room as much as possible, even now.
Instead of resting, like the doctors told her she should, Maia was sitting in front of the window in the front room, messing with the sling her arm was in, actually considering letting her mom take her back to Seattle.
