WHO: Betsy Taylor, Open
WHAT: Well... not counseling anybody.
WHEN: Late Afternoon
WHERE: Her campus office
WARNINGS: Just some more vampire!FAIL.
All in all, for the first time since she could remember after her unfortunately timed death, Betsy Taylor didn't have it so bad.
Being counselor was pretty posh so far; she had her own office, her own hours, and either nobody at this school had issues or nobody wanted to talk about them. Most likely the latter. Betsy could remember counselors from her time at college. They were mostly just... there to be there, as far as she could tell. Like, it was totally necessary to have one incase some dorm kid killed himself, but every other minute of the day they were just this extra person on the payroll. What did counselors
do on their free time? Well, Betsy was currently surfing the internet. She wasn't really big on purchasing shoes online because you never really knew what the mail carrier was going to do to the poor dears, but that didn't mean there was any harm in some playful browsing. The current Ferragamo line looked like it was shaping up. It was always disappointing when it started getting colder and people thought they had to adjust their footwear for it. Minnesota had been very particular with this tradition, though there was always that brave native here and there that didn't wear a single hat, scarf, or boot until deep into January. Here, though, Betsy would have to decide how she felt about the art of wearing high-heels on ice. She
owned tennis shoes, it wasn't like she
wouldn't wear them--they were just... a last resort. Yeah. Emergency footwear. Who didn't understand that?
Though from what she'd seen of the campus so far, there were
quite a few students that had tempted her to marker in "Fashion Consultant" over her shiny counselor name sign. Now
that was where you could help the masses. There was nothing more depressing than going through college badly clothed. It could put a bad mark on your whole future.
( I'm calling the fashion police! Right after this shoe sale is over... )
