Fuck did I need this week break. Might pop over to Amsterdam tomorrow though, since the tour didn't go there and that ginger from Werchter was telling me great things.

GUYS. The Weird Sisters have an opening act! And it is Broomstick Confessional!!!!!

Broomstick Confessional is, much like their Muggle counterpart Dashboard, a one-wizard-and-a-guitar emo-style outfit from AUSTRALIA, and has been picked up by the band's record label, and Dibbler got him to join up with Sisters, starting next week in Paris.

It can be news to the band as of tonight's show in Edinburgh — Dibbler is excited because getting an opening act is a big deal! But it is also Dashboard Broomstick Confessional, and they have no choice, so hopefully it will actually cause hilarious drama. At the very least, being that he's a one-person band, I'd think he'd try to hang out with the Weird Sisters on a semi-regular basis, and I know Kirley at the very least would find this NOT ON. He'll be travelling with them as well, so probably very hard to get away from.

Cairo and I are brainstorming! She says he walks around shirtless most of their off-time and he is General Eye Candy, which Merton the LADIES at the SHOWS will all appreciate. Also that he refers to his music as "my art". Also he probably cries sometimes. And wears guyliner most times. And he constantly reiterates his love of his love of thong panties at ALL THE WRONG MOMENTS, which means he might get along with Gid pretty well, but for ALL THE WRONG REASONS.
