Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Tony and Pepper
Where: Tony's mansion
When: Middle of the night, Christmas Eve
Why: For cuteness
Rating: TBD

Tony was having a having a hard time trying to balance a puppy, a coat, and a briefcase as he struggled to get in the house.  Pepper's car was in the driveway, so he knew at least she was in the house, and he was sure she probably hadn't left Matt behind.Trying to be as quiet as possible, he ended up dropping the coat and briefcase on the floor because the puppy wouldn't keep still.  Tony had paid the owner of the kennel a lot to get up in the middle of the night and open so he could fetch the little guy.  He had wanted him home as soon as Matt and Pepper were there just in case they weren't there when he arrived tonight because he was definitely passing out soon.  He was exhausted and jus wanted to sleep, but he would hold out long enough to see them.

Now if he could just get upstairs without the puppy waking them up.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Tony Stark and Pepper Potts
Where: First dinner, then back to his home.
When: Backdated to Saturday night
Why: They're having a really special evening.
Rating: Smut coming. Duh.

When Pepper arrived that evening, Tony had a blue dress already picked and laid out on a guestroom bed for her to change into for their date of sorts.  By date, he was taking her to a restaurant far away from the city where the two of them could at least be together outside of the house.  Not that he hated when it was just the two of them there, but he wanted to take her out on a date and treat her like...a girlfriend?  They still hadn't figured that one out.

He took her to a nice Italian restaurant upstate where no one would notice them where they even got a chance to dance together.  Afterward, he brought them home where they were now, coming inside of the darkened house just as Jarvis was adjusting the lighting for them.

Why: Pepper thinks something bad has befallen our hero

“Jesus, Jarvis, that stuff stings,” Tony yelped as the robotic arm sprayed an antiseptic aerosol over a nasty cut down the center of his back.

You mustn’t struggle, sir, or it cannot be properly applied.

He winced again.  "It still hurts."

My mistake.  I thought the great Iron Man was incapable of acting like an infant when tending to his wounds.

Tony glared in the direction of the robotic arm, but sucked it up and let Jarvis tend to the places he couldn't reach on his back before he bandaged the one on his bicep and chest.  After rubbing some ointment on the few bruises he acquired, he grabbed an ice pack and headed upstairs to the main room of the house.  Once there, he flipped on the television and stretched out on the couch, ice pack over his knee and reclined to watch CNN when a breaking news bulletin cut into the program.  It seemed Iron Man had been caught in an explosion, and thought that have been critically injured or may not have survived the incident at all.  But there were no reports of finding any wreckage of the suit or anything.

Tony grinned as he tucked his arms underneath his head.  He'd escaped death yet again, and it was fun to watch everyone scrambling around freaking out on TV like that.  But he was tired and sore and so he tucked a pillow under his head before setting the remote down to fall asleep to the droning of the television.
