If there was one thing that Becky felt from Cath, it was safety. She didn't doubt that he'd do everything he could to be sure that she and her daughter were safe while in his presence. She could tell that just by the way he was with his own child.
She too hoped there'd be no reason to hunt Colin, but she was bound and determined not to let her mind wander to any chances that there would be. He was always kept in on the full moon and there was no chance of him harming others if he was locked away that one night a month. He wasn't a monster, he was her brother. A brother she planned to keep safe no matter what.
She bit her bottom lip again as her eyes moved up to meet his. Becky didn't think his words were too forward. She liked the way they sounded coming from him and she found herself aching to feel his lips against her own. It had been so long since she'd had a proper kiss. Or any kiss for that matter.
