Supernatural RP Ads' Journal

1650s Spain. The country was in the midst of yet another Plague, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people. Seville was struck the hardest, losing at least 150,000 of its 600,000 people. One neighborhood, housing all sorts of supernaturals having banded together as families, remained all but untouched by the disease. The death toll here was nonexistent.

Five families--humans, werewolves, druids, vampires, and Elves--fled from their beloved Seville in the hopes of saving their kind and finding freedom in America. With the idealism of the New World, these families found promise in a town they founded: Refuge Sound, not far from Boston.

It was to be a safe haven for their kind, a place where they could be themselves without fear of persecution. Humans began to settle with them, unknowingly at first. As the truth of the families came to light, these humans became scared but were unwilling to leave their homes. Instead they formed their own family of hunters to protect themselves and other humans, and to contain the supernaturals in Refuge Sound.
