Summary: Rory needs tutoring, and Artie's there to help.
Math had to be the most fucked up and stupid one of them all. Most of the shit you learned in math? You didn't even need unless you were an accountant or something else that required math. So what was the point? This was Rory's train of thought while he made his way over to the library to meet up with Artie for his tutoring. He absolutely hated math. While he could pick up and be amazing at almost any other topic, math had always stumped him. The highest grade he'd ever gotten was barely a passing grade. And by 'barely', we're talking a low D. No matter how much he studied, which he did - contrary to popular belief, he just couldn't get it.
He walked into the library and immediately found a place to sit where he and his tutor would be able to work in peace. The music in his earphones was, apparently, a bit too loud as the librarian shushed him multiple times. He didn't hear any of the shushes as he threw his bag onto the table. Apparently that made a sound that the librarian didn't like as well, because she began to make her way over to him. Rory, innocently, threw himself down and pulled out his books, throwing them onto the table harshly then closed his bag. He had just opened to the page that his homework was on and sighed loudly when the librarian came over to him, tapping his shoulder hard. He pulled out his ear buds and looked at her while she told him he'd have to get out if he couldn't quiet down. He rolled his eyes and shook his head. He really hoped this kid showed up soon.
