These games were rigged. That had to be it. Alison threw the final ball at the last pyramid of bottles, sure that she had it this time. It hit the top three and they wobbled, but the pyramid remained fully upright. Groaning, she shook her head at the offer for another round. The prizes weren't that exciting anyways. Sighing, she stepped back and turned, thinking maybe she'd try some of the fair foods they had- there was something roasting over a fire that smelled delicious. Her stomach began to grumble and she frowned a little as she looked down, poking herself in the side. Oh well. She knew she probably should have been with somebody, but Charlotte was off somewhere, probably with Sidney, and heaven only knew where any of her friends were. They'd lost each other at some point after the joust, when Alison had wanted to play some of the games and they'd gone to watch some of the performers.
She began in the direction of the temporary stages, taking in her surroundings. This was all so fun! She'd never seen something quite like this. There was so much to see and to do! She wasn't paying quite as much attention as she should have, though, and ran straight into another taller body.
