Relief, quite honestly, passed through Parthenope as well. Though Peisinoe was the more socially inept of the two of them--something Parthenope found endearing about her sister--considering Parthenope got all the social skills apparently, they didn't translate the same way on the surface the way they did under water, and so their transition to the surface had been a process. And while her gift was highly prized under water, it was a little weird here, and she'd put people at a distance fairly quickly before she'd managed to reel it in, and even still it was difficult. Making friends, needless to say, was sometimes a chore, much more than she was used to growing up--somehow Peisinoe was the more normal of the two of them on the surface--so it was always lovely to have someone like Gabrielle who was actually pleased to see her--even requested her company. Almost made Summerview feel like home. "Oh goodness, I know! Real life can sometimes be much stranger than what they put on TV." Although, she wasn't knocking TV. She loved TV. "Me too! Oh, and the new couples, so awkward and so cute." Ah, love.
"Oh, back in January, I think?" Had that been all? It felt like so long ago, but not in a bad way. She felt so settled in there, it felt like a second home, not a job. "I love it. It's easy, but everyone's so nice, and sometimes I get to teach kids how to use the machines when they don't know how." Honestly, when she started she didn't know how to use most of the games, but in the downtime, she'd picked up a few things. The prize counter didn't always need manning. "Oh, lovely! I've been enjoying this warm weather. Do you know, I've never planted anything before? If you need help some time I'd love to learn." It wasn't something that she'd ever been exposed to back home, but it was sort of a fascinating concept.
