Gabrielle took her bag off from the chair beside her and placed the strap across her one of her knees, making room for Parthenope. Part of her was glad that the other woman wasn't here waiting for anyone else, though if she had Gabrielle would have waited with her and tried not to keep her awkwardly long. She really did try her best to be mindful of those things. After all, she did hate to be kept waiting when she was trying to get something else done. Of course she also had a tenancy to wait for a moment in conversation where she could politely excuse herself without either being rude or causing hurt feelings. Most of the time was smoother than not, but, there were still some cases that didn't exactly end well. Oh well, thankfully, this didn't seem to be that situation.
"Would you like to join me then?" Gabrielle asked now that the seat was cleared. "It would be more than welcome." she added sounding like she would very much enjoy that. After all, socialization was the name of the game wasn't it? "Oh absolutely. You never know what is going to happen here. Half of the time I come just to see what happens and people watch." she admitted. Sometimes coming in here and settling in for a few hours was honestly more entertaining than a movie.
"How have you been?" Ellie asked after remembering her manners. "I feel like it's been ages since I've gotten to talk to you alone." she admitted trying to think of the last time they saw each other that didn't involve mutual people that they knew.
