One eyebrow raised at the expression, recognizing it for what it was, as if to ask if she had made it through whatever expectations this woman had. Apparently though, she had, which was a relief even as it amused her. If they could get through whatever this was without a duel to prove her ability as an ally or authority figure or something akin to it then everyone would be better off.
Although, granted, the last time she had actually it was kind of fun.
Jayati nodded, "We can do that." She waved the other woman back towards her office that she had come out of before waving a dismissive hand to the crowd at large that she had garnered, "Show's over. You don't get paid to stand around and look pretty." Jayati sat down on her desk instead of in her chair properly once they were in her office, gesturing for the Ambassador to take the other chair if she wanted before she reached over to flip a Sphinx statue of all things on her desk so the walls glowed, "We have privacy." Could never be too careful of eavesdroppers in a world like theirs.
