Koa nodded, “Bare minimum works man, you’ve had a full moon though, right? I mean you’ve broken your waking-up-naked-in-the-woods cherry?”
He rubbed behind his ear and shrugged. “Yeah well it was pretty fucking rough when I was a kid, let me tell you that but I’ve got a pretty good handle on it now, don’t lose control during the full moons anymore,” for the most part. And he could shift outside the moon if he wanted to, not that he did it often since it was painful. “I know my stuff, at least,” he said, thinking about that other wolf who had teased him about knowing nothing not that long ago. “And I don’t mind sharing.”
He nodded, watching Matt disappear inside and re-emerge with pizza. Fuck it was a good thing he hadn't gone in there; he would have definitely just ended up swiping a piece of pizza from someone's plate. If it was someone he knew, at least, they might not have minded but his impulse control was pretty poor and he'd been chased out of Vinnie's once or twice when he was younger and Gabe had egged him on to do stupid shit just like that.
Leading the way towards the benches, Koa sat down and stretched his legs out in front of him with an overly dramatic groan, arms above his head as he felt the tension from standing just dribble out of his body.
"Pepperoni is the second best pizza topping so we're good."
