hey hey hey! so, i'm taking a stab at reviving this old character idea i had and figured this place was as lovely as any to bring her to. this is vanessa. she's 31 and has a bit of a colorful history. most notably, she's recognized for her adult film career. yes, this happened and it's not something she does anymore. it's a very cliche story. she wanted to be an actress/model and just got sucked into things that way. it started with stripping, went to playboy, then escalated from there. of course it made her A LOT of money, but it wasn't where her heart wanted to be. after quitting that life, she moved back to new york from california and hooked up with a publisher. her memoir about the business and moving on after was fairly well received.
her upbringing wasn't necessarily wealthy, though her parents ran a very successful mexican restaurant that's a little more on the up-scale side. vanessa's more secret talents always involved food and cooking, so she took over the business a little over a year ago. keeping the integrity of the place in tact is very important to her, even if her past discretions and career choices get her odd looks and whispers every now and then. it's something she's learned to deal with and handles as graciously as she can, though she'll never actually admit she might still like the attention. whoops.
i currently have nothing for her as far as lines go. she's declared herself as split evenly bisexual, so ex-flings, fwb, and things of that sort are welcomed with open arms. i also wouldn't mind a few close friends, drinking buddies, maybe a roommate or neighbor. i haven't decided where she lives OR where the restaurant is located, so i'm completely game to hear suggestions with that. let's make some magic!
