Terence A. Higgs ([info]theobliviator) wrote in [info]strugglewithin,
"I'm glad that we can be honest with one another, Janelle," Terence said with a smirk over his wine glass. Merlin, even that was a lie. He didn't really fuss when it came to women, Terence knew what he wanted from them and what he didn't want, so he was happy that Janelle seemed similarly oriented.

"I might be doing some more work with the MLE in the near future, but nothing much more exciting than that. I'm happy whenever I get out from behind my desk," he said with a smile. He liked his job, he liked working for the Ministry, but he never forgot that he always had more important work to do.

A few boxes were delivered to their table, and Terence placed enough coins on the table to cover their meal before Janelle caught his attention again. "Let's see to these in a more private place, yes?" he asked as he stood from his seat and picked up their desserts.
