"It's not the dancing, I don't really prefer the club atmosphere," Terence said. Too many people packed into a warm, tight space had never really appealed to him. "Besides, I can think of more productive ways to touch you, if that's what you'd like," he added with a smirk. He probably would have chosen his words better with another woman, but Terence knew Janelle well enough to speak his mind most of the time.
The food came, the seafood was excellent, and he was pleased to see that Janelle seemed to be enjoying her meal. The experience hadn't been painful for him so far. Thank Merlin she didn't seem incredibly intent on dancing tonight. When they were both finishing their meals, Terence called a server over and asked him to box a few desserts for them to take out.
"I'll happily expand over dessert," Terence said with a smile as he poured another glass of wine for each of them. "Until then, tell me about things at the Prophet. Any interesting stories you're going to break in the next few days?" He had a few plans up his sleeve for the rest of the evening, but he wasn't going to immediately let her in on those.
