"I'm glad that you reminded me of my promise, I'd not want to make myself a liar," he said, a bit of a bitter edge in his tone, but nothing too noticeable. Terence was good at lying, he got paid to lie for the Ministry every day whether he was assuring an employee of impure blood about the security of their job, or whether he was tampering with muggle memories. It was probably his greatest gift.
"It's no chore to spend time with a beautiful woman, I'm glad that we're spending the evening together, love," Terence said smoothly. "I believe I'll have the seafood platter, but that's just the mood that I'm in." He fiddled with his wine glass for a moment before taking a sip.
"You may change your mind when I'm not in my suit," he commented over his glass of wine, his words hanging between them. "The most recent times you've seen me I've been all dressed up, Janelle. Come across me in the middle of my flat or on the street after work and you might not think that I look so good."
