"Good evening, Janelle," Terence said as she let him in her apartment. It was a nice place, Terence thought, even if it was a bit small. "You look lovely this evening, certainly lovelier than the last time I saw you," he complimented. And it was true. She was a woman now, and Terence didn't mind admitting that he found her attractive.
"You're lucky I'm the first of our friends to arrive, then," he said with a smirk. "You asked for wine, so I picked this up on my way over. I wasn't sure what you planned to serve for dinner, so I just got a nice red. Would you like to open it now? Since I'm the first here, I feel like I deserve a reward of some sort." He knew that he was being cheeky, but Terence really couldn't help himself when she smiled at him that way.
