Re: Katie Bell - interviewed by Nymphadora Lupin and Xavier Selwyn
Katie liked this girl; she was friendly, at least, very much more warm, and seemed to read Katie like a book. She was nervous, yeah, but she had no idea it was so obvious. And at that particular moment, she was more perturbed than nervous, really. Annoyed, even, at Xavier's extremely condescending tone.
She would keep her cool, though. And she even hoped that he realized the genuine smile she gave to Tonks in that moment was a different one than the curt one she was giving him. Nodding in agreement, she began again. "Of course I would." She jutted out her chin just a fraction of an inch, a movement which wasn't at all noticeable, watching Xavier with a very quick, hard stare out of the corner of her eye as she went on.
"I haven't seen Harry since I left school in the spring." Katie directed her answer more toward Tonks, not only because she had asked it, but because at least someone in the room wasn't treating her like a silly, scared little girl.
