Gawain looked over at the slender brunette witch and tried to smile comfortingly. Merlin knew she'd receive nothing of that from Lestrange.

"Thank you for coming in, Miss Spinnet. The Ministry really does appreciate your time and assistance," he assured her, holing out a hand. "I'm Chief Auror Gawain Robards."

He thought, briefly, about introducing Lestrange, but decided against it. Best to get started straight away before the bint pulled out all that shite about tradition.

"Now, you were in the same house - and were on the same Quidditch team - as Harry Potter, is that correct?"
