It was still early yet to receive word from any of the few resumes she had dropped off on Saturday, and she was sure there would be a checking of blood status for good measure, after all they didn’t want some muggleborn working for them under their nose with the way the Ministry regulations were going. Janelle needed company she needed someone to cheer her up and who better than an old friend and housemate to the job.

Janelle had arrived to the Leaky Cauldron a few minutes before their meeting time. She found them a table and placed her order for a glass of wine. She even asked for a clean glass, as she felt it necessary and didn’t care if it was deemed as impolite. She waited at the table for Caleb and her glass of wine in a clean glass.

"Did I say that?" Janelle drumming her chin, "Well if I said it, it was only because I couldn't get you to give me a kiss." Laughing she shook her head, "And yes it does mean you were good looking back at school, to me at least."

"Well I suppose you are earning them and that means I am going to have to say does it it." Janelle side, "What sort of affair would it be?"

Janelle loved getting dressed up and the thought of being on Caleb's arm for an evening sounded splendid to her. He knew that he wasn't a homely fellow, but he just couldn't imagine anyone being jealous of the girl on his arm. He was simply Caleb and nothing at all to get worked up about.

"You've dazzled me for years. And I think you've blinded that old codger in the corner. I think the drool is a version of flattery." He tried his best not to smirk, but the corner of his mouth kept trying to turn up.

"Really?" She asked more focused on the fact she had dazzled Caleb for years than the old codger in the corner. "I much prefer dazzling people than making them drool," she grinned because she simply could not help it. "You know if I dazzled you for years when did you never try to make a pass at me?" Janelle was curious because she had flirted with Caleb over the years so why had he never fallen prey to her?
