Yennefer would have done almost anything for a nice long bath, but she was made to believe that whatever was happening didn't make room or time for such luxuries as hot water and long soaking baths. (She was going to find a large enough tub and a way to heat water so that she and Geralt could take long baths in this place.) After spending the past few days in a place that was as cold as Skellige, she was glad that her portals worked well enough for her to get her and Leah back to Stroma. She had been relieved and the fcat that neither she nor Leah had been hurt or ran into anything bad meant that Yennefer was fired up to go back to Iceland and bring the rest of the people there back to Stroma. If there was anyone there that didn't like magic she was sure someone would hit them over the head so they could be brought safely back to their island. Yes, she was calling it their island until she decided how much of the island she was going to accept as being her new home. She understood that she could leave on her own and her portals didn't take her back to her world. So, she was going to make the best of this place for herself and Geralt -- and she supposed Leah and also Geralt's friend, Buffy, as well. Once she and Leah got back, she went into the house she had been at with Geralt and found her communication device so she could let everyone know that she and Leah were back and that she planned to return to Iceland to get more of their people. Geralt responded and she was so glad to see his name that she didn't even get upset when he said she wasn't going anywhere until he could check her out and make sure for himself that she was ok. She liked that Geralt cared enough about her to say things like that. They had gone through a hell of a lot in the last twenty years to reach a point where they could be affectionate and caring of each other and not care what anyone else thought. So, she opened up a portal to the Lighthouse and stepped out of it, looking around for her man. |
