for some odd reason i've been thirsting to play a medically ill girl (i haven't decided on the exact illness yet, but it'd be curable) who is forced to compete in a "fight to the death" competition with other contenders. the prize? money. plenty to entice the right person into playing such a murderous game.
what i'm looking for is competition. i'd preferably like to make this one-on-one, but i won't object to roping in another player or two if there's enough interest. i'm hoping to pit her against a strong, competitive character that isn't afraid to go through great lengths to get what he/she wants.
and just fyi, this is only a skeleton version of what i had in mind. feel free to comment if at all interested.
eta: serious writers only, please!

A line against a character with "problems?" I'm not looking for any mental disabilities, but a guy who has anger issues, was in rehab for something, or is dealing with some serious issues would be awesome. Anything like that. I'm looking for some different lines where the building of a relationship won't be easy but does eventually happen because he realizes he needs her.
