Character A is in college and had grown up in a single parent household. All along, A has known about the father who had an affair with his/her mother and abandoned them. When s/he hears news that his/her father died, Character A goes to the funeral. There s/he meets Character B, his/her half-sibling. Character B's mother has been dead for years and their father was all s/he had. Guardianship passes over to Character A, much to his/her surprise. Character B can be any age from 10 to high school. Genders are open.
Characters A and B are both up and coming chefs who come from different schools (and thus trained in different methods) and are competing for spots in the same restaurant. Will bitter rivals stay that way, or can a friendship (or more) form under these conditions?
