Since the flu seems to be going around this year, everyone needs to be on top their game. Which means that you're constantly washing your hands, covering your mouth when you cough, drinking plenty of fluids and getting a good night's rest. Also, make sure that if you see someone cough or sneeze that you're a good three or more feet away from them. You're less likely to catch the germs that way.
You need to counteract it before it even starts. Doing all of this means that it's possible to avoid it. Teachers, keep a close eye on your students. If there's any sign that they might be coming down with anything get them to the nurse and have their parents called immediately.
Parents, keep an eye on your children at home. Don't let them go to school infected. Make sure that they're drinking plenty of fluids, washing their hands and getting plenty of rest.
If there's questions that any of you have, I'm here to try and answer them.
