The basic idea, simple. Sign up. Get a song to use as inspiration for a fic. Write. There is a longer writing period due to holidays and chaos if this works out and everyone has fun probably do again at some random time in the future.



sign ups: Nov 1- Nov 14. 2008
assignments go out: : Nov 15- Nov 30 2008 (it will take me a bit to get that done)
last chance for omg I can't do anything with this request a different song: Jan 1 2009
fic due Feb 10 2009 which gives you 2 months to write even through all the holiday chaos if you do not have an IJ. (I'll post for whoever doesn't have an IJ, if you have an IJ welcome to post yourself on the day)
posting schedule: put up Feb 11
posting Feb 14-20 2009


rules
1. no insanejournal is necessary but an authorname and some way of contact is (preferably email--I'd really not like to go about hunting up and commenting on a dozen or more journals uhm hey fic is due?)

2. since this is hitting in Feb you may request love song, love sucks, or just gimme a song. (there is *no* necessary theme, just if you'd like something in that direction)

3. Minimum word count 1200 words

4. can request a different song due to lack of inspiration no more than twice and not after Jan 1.

5. Any fandom--television, book, movie, RPS/RPF. Any rating. Any genre. use the song you're given as inspiration, write.

fandom: if you have any clue (by no means set in stone just what you're most likely to write in)
theme: (optional)

note: comments will be screened. contact info won't be publically veiwable and not used for anything but assignments and a reminder just before this comes up due.
