All around town

[In their suits they're called for their first official meeting as a team. There's a large room with a giant table in the middle. The table is shaped in a triangle, 3 seats are on one side and 3 on the other with Steve's seat in the middle.]
Good morning everyone, welcome to the new team. I know you've all known me or some version of me forever, but something's changed within me. I'm sure some of you have noticed. I'm stronger, more powerful than ever. From now on, crime in our town stands no chance, and I wanted you all here to help. My family.

I have heat vision, super strength, durability, flight, and enhanced vocal cords. I'm not weak anymore. It's like the super serum on crack, I've talked to a chemist. He said it's called compound V. He did some research and found the formula. I've commissioned him to make enough for all of the unenhanced humans on our team, but of course it's everyone's choice whether or not they want to take it.

Millie's been hard at work recruiting a top notch intelligence team. They're consistently monitoring surveillance around the town to catch crime right before it happens, that way we can arrive in time to make sure every crime is victimless.

All proceeds from our appearances will be split evenly between the 7 of us to give to charity or do with what we please.

Now enough of business. Let's kick off the meeting with something fun. Who did you save this week? [He starts at one end of the table where Bucky sits]

[Things have been rough for them these past few days, he hates this. He takes Grant out alone to talk. He walks with Grant through the street in every day clothes so he won't be interrupted by fans]

Kids, Micah's told me you're getting a little wild. You're allowed to use your powers, but not in a way that will make things come back to you. The delivery driver not getting paid? That's traceable. If I would have let him live, everybody would have thought that the Captain of the Avengers stiffs delivery workers. It's not a good look for our family. Talking about getting revenge in a place where there are witnesses, Cindy? Stop being sloppy kids. It's great that you're using your powers, but you need to use them with purpose.

I think you need someone to practice doing the right thing on. From now on, you two are in charge of a super secret mission. This is the real test, okay? On the edge of town there's a man named Pyotr who's working on creating more of what he's calling Compound V, the serum that gave me these enhanced powers. Get him a team and keep him in line but don't kill him. This is going to help protect your siblings that were born without powers.

We have a big problem.

[Cap can't catch a break, he's been bitten by a "Homelander" tick.]
There are going to be some changes made. Our town needs heroes. Real heroes. The Avengers.

They need hope in these troubling times. Between the fall of Stark Industries, the new villains popping up every day, our townspeople need someone to believe in. We used to be that before we started pandering to criminals. We need to send a strong message to the universe that we will protect them.

Sam, Bucky, Millie, Wanda, Quicksilver, Nat, and I will be the team. Everybody is entitled to one sidekick. There will be only one version of each member on the team. I will be reviewing the versions and tapping the ones most qualified for the position. All other versions will lay low or consult the main version before conducting themselves in public. No more Bucky versions getting mauled on the street for something one did. If there's a problem, contact the team and we will either handle it or approve that you do. Our public approval matters.

[He sighs]
And the rehabilitation team is disbanded. We can't show a soft approach to crime. From here on out, we're the final line of defense. Dorian and his team graduate. HYDRA will be kept in lockup downstairs until they are ready to reenter the public, I'll leave that to the other version of me's discretion. Andi, Cyndi, Mortie, Helena, James, and Alice are released from the program and are being added to the Junior Avengers. Suzie is off of the Junior Avengers. Lucien is the head of the New Avengers. We need to present strength and strength comes from power.

Okay we need to talk. It's not enough that you immediately broke your promise to me. Oh don't worry, Nat, I won't bring anyone home with me -- then you take your conquests home to fuck in our bed. Then you sabotage my dates. Charlie told me what you said. You told him that my jeans didn't do my ass justice? Who even talks like that! He ran away so he didn't get "entangled" in whatever I had with you, which according to you, is nothing. Jesus Christ, Steve, what's your deal?

So sorry, I know a lot's going on with like Bucky and stuff? But we caught the Green Goblin. It's an old classmate of mine. Liz Allan. She says she doesn't remember any of it and guys, I don't know what to think.

Move over, Avengers. The word on the street is that there's a new crime fighting team on the street called the Liberty League. League, by definition is a collection of people. Now how many people are members of the Liberty League you might ask? One. One fighter is a league, but I guess who are we to argue since superheroes make up their own definitions these days.

In case you missed it, this week, Millie Rogers joined the ranks as one of Captain America's sweetheart slayers. Bucky Barnes, the worst one, the one who tortured and murdered for a Nazi organization run by the worst Captain America was spotted out with him at a restaurant. [Photo of them]

Steve Rogers certainly has a type, and it's the type who kills whomever they want to. All this time we were worried about Green Goblin destroying our town when we should have been preparing for when Green Goblin destroys the Captain's bed.

The streets are filled with supersoldiers, mutants, and rich kids with big guns and somehow crime is only ever going up. At least we can count on our masked spiders to restore justice whenever they're not hanging cyberbullies 100 feet above their certain death.

[Natasha tries to reach Millie first, but her speed's no match for Tony's suit. At least they were both going to bring her to the tower anyway. All of the Avengers convene there to discuss this issue. When Cap arrives, he's walking in on a debate already in progress.]
I get it. I was watching the case the whole time and if that was my kid out there, I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing. I'm not famously unemotional myself. She's a parent and the action she took is totally understandable, but actions have consequences. If she's upfront and turns herself in I think she has a case for temporary insanity. Worst case scenario, she ends up in Steve's rehabilitation program.

[Sam's not convinced.]
How can you expect us to put our trust in the system after what we saw today? We can't put our faith in a corrupt system and expect them to do the right thing. This needs to be settled in house with us. With Steve.

That's not how this works. [Tony fires back.] If we act like we're above the law, we have no right intervening in it.

[Walking down the street, Steve gets bitten by a teamwork tick. It sinks it's teeth right into his beautifully sculpted calf, but due to his high pain tolerance, he doesn't notice.

Avengers, assemble! [He calls out on their Avengers filter. This filter includes Thunderbolts, Junior Avengers, New Avengers, strippers, and members of the reformation program]

[She uses her keen werewolf senses to find Elijah -- and by keen werewolf senses I mean she had Micah trace Elijah's IP to his location. When she arrives, she finds the boy beaten to a bloody pulp.]
Oh my God. [She runs to him and takes his pain.]
