So we got it all out. We just need to figure out if this thing was contagious or not. If it was in Steve there's a chance it could have gone inside of any of us if it was airborne.

[She just went to go visit the kids but when she knocked on the door, Cap answered and slammed the door in her face. She really doesn't like him. She filters to them as she walks off the property.]

[She's been up all night crying in her parent's room about the twins. It's just too much. She doesn't know anyone who wasn't directly affected by these killings, but she's glad it's finally over. Her parents both go out after breakfast to go help the rescue efforts around town. She has one task to focus on today, helping the kids find their way home. She pours them each some hot cocoa and goes up to Mortie because he seems like the oldest, or at least the one who's assumed the leader position.]
The roads seem safer today, we should check in with your social workers to make sure they know you guys are safe.

I had two visitors tonight. A version of Agent Romanoff and a version of Agent Carter... Peggy. They came to my home and tried to recruit me, so I don't think their world has a version of me.

I still can't make out what the motive is, but Peggy said that it isn't HYDRA that's behind this. She may have been lying, but... [He sighs, her words resonating in his head "It's all for you"] if it actually isn't, we're back at square one.

[Fury told him to think about it. To consider whether or not he's ready to let more people get hurt because he hasn't found control yet or if he's going to step up and do something to stop it. He hasn't been able to sleep well since their encounter. Fury told him to reflect on what it means to be a hero and decide if that's what he wanted to be.

He does want to be a hero so badly. He sends out a text to his friends but it goes OTA as a network post.]

[Storm clouds gather over Stepford.]

[He walks out of the secret school feeling strange. He wouldn't have to be a 10th grader anymore and that sounds nice. Everything about that school sounds nice, but it feels sneaky. He doesn't know much about Fury but he knows the man doesn't want Cap to know about the offer. Burdened with this terrible secret, he's not sure what to do.]

Guys, I found out the guy who's taking Viktor's place in the V drug ring. He's making a drop by the docks during homeroom. I think if we all go down together we can take it out before first period. Are you guys in?

[Steve is heading in to the boss's office after finishing his shift when he overhears a conversation between the boss and another employee. He's telling the woman that he's going to dock her pay if she doesn't start wearing lower cut shirts so he can peer into. When his coworker started crying because she couldn't afford new shirts, Steve decided to step in and try to reason with this bully.

Long story short, Steve's unemployed and the boss has a black eye. He's pretty sure he won't get the money he's earned either. He slumps down on the bench in front of the store wondering what he's going to do about all the money he owes. At least now he'll have a chance to eat his lunch. The company lunch room has a no food or drink sign on it since a jar of honey broke and the place got infested with ants. He bites into his sandwich after shaking the color back into the "food" and then spots a hungry local kid begging for pennies at the street corner. He gives the kid his sandwich and the kid hugs his leg, then proceeds to run off to feed his brother who was hiding in an alley.

This isn't a life. He jots this down in his handy dandy notebook and leads the kids to one of the orphanages that Stark built. At least here they'll have food and shelter. He heads back out on the street making his way down the list of potential employers to call when he sees Tony walk out of the supermarket.]
