Good Evening Stepford,
Tonight I am asking you to join me to walk together to a better future, and for that to happen, I have to first admit that we at Carson and Guerra have failed you. When I first arrived in Stepford, side-by-side with a man with a big heart from a small town, my best friend and partner, James Carson. We both had intended to represent the best of America, the beloved homeland to the majority of our displaced population.
I wish we had succeeded because I want Stepford to succeed. But our promises gave way to disappointment and division among the displaced and the locals, and our families and friends. It's long overdue but we're doing something about it. With your help we will do something.
Now is the moment when we can stand up and say, " I make my destiny. And we deserve better. My children deserve better. My family deserves better. My community deserves better." So here we stand. We are a community of immigrants. We are the children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the ones who wanted a better life, the driven ones, the ones who woke up at night hearing that voice telling them that life could be better.
They came not just in pursuit of the riches of this world but for the richness of this life.
Freedom.
Freedom of religion.
Freedom to speak their mind.
Freedom to build a life.
And yes, freedom to build a business. With their own hands, so we at Carson and Guerra are taking a step back and allowing that dream our parents, our grandparents, our great-grandparents had to come to fruition. Starting effective immediately, there won't be anymore handouts or freebees for the displaced. We will rise up and we'll work our fingers to the bone and we'll succeed. We're a community of warriors and we will fight, and when the fight is over at the end of the day, we will see our victory shine through the faces of our children as they look at us with pride, knowing that their fathers are providing for them the way ours provided for us.
Now is the time to restore the promise we made to all of you when we first became established. Many of you may have given up on us, but you haven't ever thought about giving up. Not on yourselves. Not on each other. And not on Stepford. What is needed in our town today is not complicated or profound.
What Stepford needs is jobs.
Lots of jobs. That's why also starting today, Carson and Guerra is opening up over 6,000 jobs collectively through all of our branches. Come in and apply today.
