[Peter hasn't slept more than a couple of hours since the fight had gone down with the other world's Avengers. It had only gotten worse after his run-in with Skip. He's been on edge, jumpy. The one meal he'd managed to choke down in the last 48 hours had been a bowl of soup and it hadn't taken long before it had come right back up. He remembers he'd been sick off and on for weeks until he'd managed to build up enough courage to tell Aunt May and Uncle Ben what had happened. Anxiety, Aunt May had called it as she'd stroked the hair back out of his eyes. She and Uncle Ben had slept in a chair at his bedside for days after he'd told them.
He'd woken up multiple times to the sound of Aunt May crying. Uncle Ben had aged seemingly overnight. Telling people sometimes does more harm than it helps. It's a terrifying weight of responsibility and even now he doesn't know what right answer is. He hopes that Mr. Stark does.
Mostly Peter's stayed in his room since his encounter with Skip on the street, and Ned has kept him company. He knows his best friend is worried about him. It seems like no matter what he does or doesn't do, someone he cares about gets hurt because of him, one way or another.
He's so tired.
He makes his way up to Mr. Stark's lab, heart beating quickly in his chest. At least when he's not wearing the suit, Karen isn't monitoring his vitals. He lingers in the doorway, face paler than usual and circles under his eyes.]
Hey, Mr. Stark. I'm...here.
[Time to get this over with.]
