All right Kiddos, Coach Meyers here. I know we still have a few weeks left of summer but I want you all to start thinking about school. I know, we're all groaning at that, but I'm actually looking forward to meeting all of you so I'm going to start with an early ice breaker. I'm Seth Meyers, I'm a math teacher at the high school and I coach basketball and basketball season is upon us, so I hope to see just as many of you trying out for basketball as I do for lacrosse. We're seriously lagging in the basketball department. Um, what else? I'm 22, but don't get nervous about my age, I'm pretty smart and capable. My favorite color is green and I have a dog named Tangent.

[As happy as he is to have his best friend's dad around, it has kind of put the kabosh on being in Kira's room with the door closed. This is a problem for hooking up, which is important, but today it's also an obstacle to surprising his girlfriend with a carefully constructed animal habitat without five other people and a snake wandering by and asking what's up. Which is currently more important.
He could just go out into the hall and go into her room, but the Sheriff has been almost psychic about busting them lately and he doesn't want to risk it. So after a moment of consideration he opens his window and crawls out onto the roof, pulling his surprise after him and edging along the narrow ledge until he gets to Kira's window. He turns so that he's facing the backyard and reaches sideways with his hand to knock gently on the glass without looking in. Even if she is his girlfriend it feels creepy to just stare through her window at her, so he knocks again then gives a blind, flailing wave, hoping she'll recognize him from his hand.]
