Hi Guys,
Well the "epic battle" scene didn't really go how I expected it to, so maybe I need to clarify some things as we move on. The ship was almost destroyed, it is heavily damaged and by a miracle the cloaking device still works. The ship is in hiding right now and will soon beam away teams down to the planet for investigative work and research. The other two ships were completely destroyed. Below is plot-worthy info.
MEDICAL: You guys have a ton of wounded on your hands, even researches with medical backgrounds can be helping. Their should be triage, people in the halls, teams going to the bridge, trauma, blood, guts, death, the works.
ENGINEERING: The ship is a mess! Power is low, the warp core is probably billowing all types of gases. Main engineering might even have been evacuated. There are leaks, plasma fires, all kinds of stuff to work with.
SCIENCES/MISC: Maybe you knew someone on those other two ships who were killed. Maybe you're a victim yourself of a horrific injury. Maybe help engineering or medical if you have any backgrounds. Think about your character, how would they react?
All in all, there is plenty to do right now and be creative with, so enjoy the drama and post when possible. Feel free to share your ideas and ask questions. Thanks! (See note below)

Hey Folks,
A new IC thread is up. Once the Captain has replied to Olivia and Ranul, we will go to the bridge and the ship will arrive at our destination. We will write what we're encountering and you can expect any and every character to be involved. The thread is tagging everyone so feel free to post your character's reaction in that thread even if you're somewhere else on the ship, just try and specify in case another character wants to interact. Reply here for questions/comments and have fun! =)

Hi Guys,
I hope everyone had a good week, TGIF. I've spent a lot of time redoing the ship info page, so make sure and check it out. The other pages linked from there are a work in progress, however, the decks page is complete! No more guessing where everything is! =) (Thanks to the other Dan for helping me). So feel free to start using deck numbers in your posts or think about where your character may live. Reply here for comments or suggestions
As far as the plot, I know a lot of you are bored, so sometime within the next few days the ship will arrive at its destination and I assure you there will be plenty to write about. Also, Ranul, the second officer/chief science officer will now absorb the duties of the chief operations officer (like Data). So be prepared for that change.
One last thing, I'd like to remind all of you that there are posting requirements in this game that I tend to enforce. Please post at least once a week in IC or OOC. I don't like having to track people down, so please be proactive. There is always something to write about when you use your imagination, you just have to take the initiative. Okay I'm done being mean.

We lost our communications officer, so that position is open if anyone is interested. Please update your friends list.
In case anyone hasn't been following it, an important thread is finishing up which you can find here. It's probably one of the most important ones so far, so please read it so you have an idea of what's going on.
Also, you can find info regarding the Vorducaat (the original race we're about to encounter) here. They're a bizarre bunch so it should be interesting.

Hey Guys,
Just wanted to update everyone on what's going on. The ship is finally leaving dock and because where we are going is so far, I'm going to jump ahead about a week. Even though technically it would probably take much longer than that to get there, we're shortening it a bit. So feel free to post up to April 11th while we're cruising at warp, because April 12th is when we will arrive and everything big will happen. There will be lots of action soon so be on your toes and watch out for new threads.
PLOT DETAILS:
(1)I have provided basic information of the missing doctors. As you can see, the one thing they have in common is their specialty. They have all been kidnapped. Feel free to make up a story or history about their lives if your character is researching them. They were all working on random projects when they disappeared.
(2)The planet we are headed to is equipped with multiple sensor inhibitors, preventing us from getting a clear view of what is actually out there. The ship's long-range sensors will detect a large amount of objects surrounding the planet, but there is no way to tell if these are ships, asteroids, space junk, etc. So we are headed into the unknown.
(3)The Captain assigned some characters a specific duty. Stretch that out and thread about it. For those of you who aren't directly involved, you will be soon. Take this time to build relationships with other characters, go tag crazy if you want. The ship is huge and there is plenty of room for character-driven plottage.

Hey Everyone,
The start of the new plot has been posted in IC. I know a lot of you have been waiting patiently, it just took some time to work out the details. If you play a senior officer, this is your chance to start posting in the conference room. If you don't play any seniors, don't worry because action is on its way. We're gaining new players almost everyday, so please keep your friends list updated and make sure you get acquainted with them when they post their intro.
