Who: Barry, Not!Wells, Possibly the Allen family?
When: Outside of time, then 4/15/2000
Where: Barry's old house, Central City
What: A malfunctioning machine leads to trying to change history
The whole of time was laid out in front of Barry like a highway, just as Stein had theorized. He'd found the on ramp, with the help of the tachyon device. And now, he followed it. Nothing could stop him. He ran for what felt like eons, watching history undo around him, waiting for his destination. A spark erupted on his chest, and lightning followed, accompanied closely by that familiar yellow light. Like Alice chasing the white rabbit, he followed. How deep did the rabbit hole go?
Barry had his answer when the familiar street of his childhood home erupted to life in front of him, and that yellow light didn't stop moving. It was now or never, do or die. So when the yellow didn't stop, neither did the red. They were on a collision course with fate, he knew, and this time he would not fail. They raced on, closer with each passing nanosecond, until they arrived at their destination. Papers blew, and shutters rattled. And there, in all her beauty, glowing like the sun with a glass of wine in her hand and a smile on her face, was Nora. If Barry had time, he would have gotten emotional, stopped to talk to her, to see her smile. And he would have caused a universe-ending paradox. So it was good that he didn't have the time to get emotional.
He chased the reverse flash around the room, watching as the chaos unfolded in their wake, and threw a punch when he got close enough.
