Tommy still couldn't believe it had been year since the whole issue with his father. The two still hadn't spoken much, and he couldn't see that changing any time soon. Tommy knew that it had happened and there was no changing it, but his father was the only one he just couldn't bring himself to forgive. Malcolm had never really been there for Tommy and for him to have been so careless with a woman Tommy had cared about was the last straw. He wasn't sure how the two men could ever be the same again. He knew his father may not have meant to hurt him, but then again that was the story of his life. He spent all his time forgiving his father for the pain he had caused, and he was finally getting tired of it. He hated that these thoughts were plaguing him once again, so he forced himself think of something else. At the moment he had chosen thoughts of a nice prepared dinner. He had rather gotten used to home cooked meals ever since he had started taking the cooking classes. So, once again he was standing over the stove, making a new dish he had been wanting to try out. He was just about done, so he started prepping the bowls he would need. He had made enough for two, so that he could take some to Elena. For some reason he still felt this need to take care of her even after all this time in Starling. Once he had the meal in the proper travel containers he went into his room to get himself dressed. It only took him a few moments and then he was making his way back out into the kitchen. He put the containers in a bag, grabbed his keys and then made his way out the door. The drive to Elena's apartment hadn't taken him long at all. Tommy had arranged this apartment for her long ago, so of course he knew right where he was going. Once he had climbed out of the car and gathered the bags he made his way quickly up to the door. He knocked lightly and then waited for her to answer. |
