"L.A.'s great," she replied. "But after a while, it gets less and less fun." She wasn't going to go into why, though. Somehow she thought talking about vampires and demons might a) dampen the conversation and b) cause Bonnie to go running for the hills.
"The Mystic Grill." She was trying her best to take this town seriously. "Maybe this is because I'm from L.A., and I totally don't want to rag on your town, but every time I hear the name, I keep waiting for wizards to pop and get all mystic." She paused. "Or I get a craving for pizza." She paused. "I mostly blame that on Julia Roberts and the 80s, though." Mystic Pizza - an underrated movie, really.
Pulling out her schedule from her bag, she glanced at Bonnie and grinned. "Ooh, party," she replied. "So, I'm assuming short skirts and tight shirts are probably a bad idea for tonight, right?" She frowned a little. "The weather here is making it painfully obvious that my wardrobe needs to be replenished for a cooler climate." She was allowing herself to get a little excited. Party with the locals. She took a deep breath as she felt a weight that was beginning to lift off her shoulders.
