"Nah." she said with a slight shake over head. Even if it was that obvious. Small town, you tended to notice new faces. "Just when you've lived here all your life you tend to notice new faces." you'd have to be blind not to notice new faces, at least you would in Bonnie's opinion. "School work is evil." she agreed. "But the socializing and school events aren't bad." she loved school events, they were fun. Either going as one of the cheerleaders or volunteering, she had fun at the events. It was the homework and learning part that sucked.
Reaching out for her hand, Bonnie returned the smile. Buffy? That was a unique one. "Bonnie." she said, introducing herself along with a hand shake.
When their fingers touched, Bonnie froze, face going blank. She didn't know what was going on, or what was with the feeling she was getting from touching the girls hand. After a second or two, Bonnie half stumbled back, looking down. What the hell had that been?
Her gran, simply getting to her head. That's all, it was nothing. Her imagination. Because she was just thinking way too much into the crazy talk her grandmother had been going on about. Fixing her smile back into place, she looked back up. "Sorry, weird phasing out moment."
Motioning with her head toward the school, she started walking slowly toward the doors. "So where are you moving from?" she asked curiously. Maybe some place more exciting than Virgina. "Hopefully Mystic Falls into much of a boring change." unless you really knew about the town, the place could seem pretty dull.
