One side of Leon's mouth quirked up when Caleb used the word 'contain'. That was the idea. Containing his desire to break his own determination and corner Mickey at a rest stop. He wouldn't lose, but he was definitely getting some uncomfortable feelings that he wasn't expecting whenever Mickey flirted with others. The Voodooist tried to keep shrugging them off. He and Mickey weren't together. Leon was straight. He didn't get into relationships with guys. It was just... something else.
Besides, Leon argued with himself while Caleb talked about breakfast options for one or two or three, Leon could, at any time, pursue interest in any of the girls he liked. He wasn't sitting around waiting for Mickey to cave.
Letting out a breath and telling himself to stop being such a girl, he looked ahead through the windshield, "What's a pre-party, anyway?" Leon didn't know what Mickey and Caleb had plans to do in Nashville, but partying wasn't on the Haitian's list of things to do on vacation. "I agree on at least having dinner together, though."
"Hey, look!" he pointed out at a sign for the Monongahela National Forest. "Maybe instead of a hotel tonight we can stop there." He sent a hopeful look at both Caleb and Mickey.
