Oliver had been pretty bummed for a variety of reasons ever since getting back home. One, even though he healed a bit faster than a normal person, he still had a few pains from the burns he had suffered from his fight with Davian. Two, he had to practice with these injuries otherwise he might not be able to win the tournament coming up. Then there was the most distracting reason that was causing him to be bummed. Emily was pissed at him for the fight with Davian. He couldn't even really blame her. She had been trying to be Davian's friend, despite how much of an asshole the guy was, and he was supposed to support her decision to do that even if he did have the feeling something was up. He still wasn't even completely sure why he had lost his control so hard around the demon. He had managed to show control even when directly next to a guy he didn't know, but Davian just seemed to bring the beast out in him.
He didn't look quite as good without his shirt on at the moment, but he still had it off since it was so hot. He was even still getting positive stares while he skated around the open skater area. He knew some people loved the bad boy type, so maybe it just made him look like he was some kind of hot trouble maker. The burns weren't nearly as bad as they had been a week ago either, so he wasn't too concerned about their look. Honestly he was more concerned about his maneuverability than he was his appearance at the moment. He had gained most of his skill back, but there was still a bit of concern. His sister did her best to assure him he still looked fantastic on the board, but he still wasn't sure. He just seemed to have lost a great deal of his confidence to be honest. Normally he would speak to Emily about this, but he was pretty sure she was still mad at him. He had his sister, but she was even seeming distant lately. It was like there was something going on that she wasn't ready to talk about. He tried to ask her a few times, but she would just clam up and make an excuse.
He had managed to not think about a lot of things close to the end of the year, since he had been finding comfort in Mickey's bed. It really just seemed to be now that he had to think about it when he realized how much he missed Emily's friendship.
