Everything that Dallas knew Loriana knew, he was never able to keep secrets from her, not because he was bad at secrets, no…it’s just she commanded him and as the ranking official of the family he had to tell her…he couldn’t help it. He felt it might have to do with the deep bond they have that went deeper than blood. Since his immortality and hers was stripped away thus used to fuel her returning to life, the two of them were bonded by the life force. It was a bunch of magical craziness that Dallas didn’t mind enough to divulge into and investigate. Plainly speaking he was currently programed to follow her commands.
Loriana would know if Davian started to lie to her and that would end badly and Dallas prayed that he didn’t push it. As he’s mentioned before…she’s not as forgiving as some. Her mouth formed a firm line as she looked at him displeased at the cocky attitude in which he obeyed her. At least he didn’t fight her on that. “Sit up straight for goodness sake, your manner are atrocious,” she snapped before smoothing her dress down and pausing, “So…Ecarubihr isn’t it…I’d ask if you preferred Davian if I cared what you thought and to be honest I don’t. You’ve disrespected my brother and I hope you are wise enough not to disrespect me. I know your past, all the communes heard about it as we are not to help you or allow you sanctuary.” She grabbed his chin to make him meet her eyes, “You will look me in the eye when I am speaking to you. Now…I know I am frightening, not in this hideous glamour but I don’t want to frighten the other students so I will keep it up. However, my appearance and standing aren’t the only thing that should scare you. I am married to the white mage who’s family killed my father and his entire following. If demons don’t scare you white mages should. You see I did something similar to you however the other side won…and I died in the process. Lucky for me my brother returned from being banished and brought me back. We paid a high price though. Our immortality. I have one life to live, I’ll age and die…but since I have my husband and he’s mortal…I’m content.” She brushed her hair behind her ear and glanced at Dallas who had a white knuckled grip on one of the chairs, “Dallas breathe I’m not going to hurt him as long as he listens. Be grateful I’m not referring to him as scrub demon or worm…I want to but I am refraining.” She turned her attention back to Davian, “Back to you now. If I had my way I’d turn you over to another commune to deal with you as they see fit. Get your proper punishment, however, I would be a hypocrite if I condoned what you did. I do not know your reasoning behind it and before I go any further I command you to tell me your reasoning.” She placed a hand over his and gave him a hard stare warning him not to disobey her.
