Felicity nodded to Josephine. Yes, ideally she would be able to see her child. That was ideally though. Until she spoke to her parents this weekend, she wouldn't know for sure. Everything was too precariously close to a precipice. She didn't want to lose what she had. Not Galad and not the child.

The food was why she'd come there but Ms. Pearl was also a woman that Felicity found herself respecting more than she did many of the teachers here, except Ms. Menides. She wished she had known someone like Ms. Pearl when she was growing up, but then again, Felicity may not have been the person she was if she had.
