Party for those that remained
Who: Any student who remained at the academy over the break BYOT
Where: The Raconteur
When: Friday after Thanksgiving
Warning: It's a party
Cascada had been slowly getting to know the students through observation, but she knew all to well that observation only got you so far. When people who remained at the school expressed the desire to have a party, she had the idea that it would be the perfect time to try to get to know some of them. Having plenty of money left to her by her mother, not to mention her own endeavors, she was easily able to rent out the Raconteur for herself and her classmates.
There was of course food of many types specially ordered to cater to the different countries she was aware some of the students were from. There were even a few specialty items for those with different needs. There were of course drinks of various kinds. The unfortunate thing was that the owner refused to serve alcohol for a party thrown by a teenager. She was still getting used to this drinking age issue. She had contemplated making herself appear older, but in the end decided against that since she didn't want to show her whole hand just yet. That meant that strictly speaking, there was no alcohol. She slipped this information to some of the more easily manipulated students though in order to let them have the brilliant idea of sneaking some drinks in. If they were caught, she could simply play ignorant and they would be the only ones who got in trouble.
The stage was set up with a microphone and a screen for those who wished to perform, and a disc jockey was hired for the night when no one felt confident. There were many people already on the dance floor, some having arrived intoxicated already, and the hostess was wandering around between as many of the people that had caught her eye as she could.
The party may not have been as good a one as she could have thrown if she had planned the entire thing, but it was good enough to at least make her be known by everyone she wanted to know.
