As the Pegasus lifted off the ground with a few powerful sweeps of its wings, Teddy's fingers curled around the mane, eyes closed at first until the wobbly upward movement stopped and they were sort of flying below the treeline but high enough that they were off the floor and Teddy would hurt himself if he fell. His fingers tightened a little in the mane but as the Pegasus flew lazy circles around the area, Teddy started to relax a little and sat back just a fraction, watching the way the world below him looked little even from their relatively low height.
He waved at Leon before the Pegasus moved through the trees, doing a few more laps of the clearing before it landed, hooves hitting the grounds and carefully trotting to a halt right beside Leon again. Teddy leaned forward and rested his forehead against the Pegasus' neck, shaking with the adrenaline and excitement of the ride. He didn't want to get off. He wanted to do it again.
"That was amazing!" he said, sliding off reluctantly as the Pegasus dropped down to let him get off. He hugged the magnificent creature. "Thank you!"
His gaze then returned to Leon. "You wanna have a go? He's awesome. You should try it!"
