"He is. Very beautiful," Leon admitted, seeing that Teddy was enjoying himself thoroughly, judging by the expression on the younger boy's face. When the pegasus didn't mind Teddy petting it, and he didn't have to pull his friend out of hoof striking range, Leon reached out past Teddy to pet the creature, too, feeling the soft velvet of its fur.
"Wow he's like touching a cloud," he said, surprised. "And yeah, I'm glad, too. The instructor would have probably bored us for half an hour on pegasus lore before ever letting us get this close," he smirked over at Teddy.
The pegasus finished crunching the apple and put its head down to sniff at the grass, seeking fallen bits of the fruit, before a shiver rippled over its body, escalating into a full shake that raised his large wings and tossed his mane. He snorted, nickering softly at the two boys and curving his muscled neck to start smelling out Teddy's pockets to investigate for more treats. He nipped at the boy's shirt, tugging on it gently and almost playfully, but Leon was wary. "Careful."
