Teddy jumped when the Pegasus just snatched the apple and had to take a moment to check that he still had his fingers. "That wasn't very nice, was it," he told the winged creature before he glanced back at Leon again. He'd been so excited to see them before they'd arrived, but now that he was here, and the beautiful creature was standing right in front of him, he felt suddenly nervous at the idea of touching it.
His fingers carefully reached out and he rubbed his fingers against the horse's muzzle before moving slowly to the side and stroking down the long neck. It didn't feel like a regular horse, as far as Teddy was expecting, it was softer than he would have thought. He had expected it to be kind of corse to the touch but it wasn't. It wasn't in any way. Its mane was soft, too, as if it had been just washed but Teddy knew that was silly.
"He's beautiful, isn't he?" he asked Leon, resisting the urge he had to just fling his arms around the Pegasus and hug him until he wanted to fly away. "It was the right decision not to join the group, I'm glad we got to see him on our own first." He was beaming, his sheer delight at what was happening clear on his face. "Don't you think?"
