Teddy was still very young in many ways and that youthful exuberance was carried around with him pretty much everywhere he went if there was something exciting around, and the creatures they did stop to look at had Teddy's excitement levels through the roof, bouncing from place to place, pointing out things to Leon that he could already see, trying to touch everything but at the same time being respectful enough that he wasn't about to insult anything.
He was psyched to get to see the Pegasi though and grinned when Leon agreed finally that they could go over to where they were. He had been about to head over to join the group when he was detoured, and he was glad that he did because there was one in front of him.
"Oh, Leon," he breathed, turning his head to look at his friend, a little confused as to why he'd stepped backwards, "Look how beautiful it is."
He'd been carrying around treats for the Pegasi in the hopes that he'd see one, biting his lip as it sniffed at his shirt. It wasn't going to bite him, right? He reached out and touched the creature's snout before his hand slid into his satchel to pull out an apple.
"How do I hold it?" he asked Leon, having never interacted with horses of any kind before. "Do you think it'll mind if I pet it? C'mon, how come you're not up here with me?"
