"If I wasn't alright, I wouldn't have agreed to it in the first place," Victoria said, liking the soothing feeling of his fingers in her hair, "Besides, there will be a time where you will have to deal with my baggage." Hopefully that wouldn't happen at the same time as his problems. But they could make it through together. She knew she wasn't going to leave him, and she hoped that he felt the same. She lifted her head and looked down at his face briefly, her fingers grasping his shirt lightly.
"I'll never regret you," she said. Never was a strong word but she meant it. Even if things fell apart at some point or what they shared faded, she wouldn't look back at this with regret the way she did with James. Though with James there had been points where she was sure that he wasn't as heartless as Leon described. But she had to question those moments because James had fooled her so thoroughly.
She scooted closer to him and up so her face was over his. Victoria leaned down to kiss him, "How could I ever not be alright about you?" She kissed him again. It lingered a little and she smiled softly as her eyes closed and she went to nuzzle into his neck.
