WHO: Bayani Castillo and Victoria Vazquez
WHAT: Teenagers are drama chapter 20,050.
WHEN: Backdated just a little to Tuesday night, the 10th
WHERE: Victoria's room
RATING: We'll see
Bayani knew their voices traveled during the fight, so it wasn't going to be kept private. He assumed Sorin would hear or go to comfort Ellie, and they could just talk shit about him for awhile. He was really past a point where he cared. Bay wasn't someone who looked for comfort when things went wrong. Instead he retreated into himself and needed alone time, going on a long walk so he didn't break everything in sight, and withdrawing from others during classes the next day. This was his way. If it wasn't for Victoria, he probably would've hidden for at least a week, barely contributing to class (not like he did much anyway). But that night was the first one that they'd skipped since they got together, and he owed her an explanation. He did tell her he'd talk later, but he was reluctant once he got to his room. He just wanted to be alone. Alone was not an option anymore, it was a decision he made to be with someone else, and that meant being with them through the bad times too. He understood that. But considering how important it was to him that she see him in a good light, it was difficult to let her see him in a dark mood. Bayani was difficult on a good day. Still, he promised. So he knocked on her door as a warning and then let himself in, locking the door behind them. Usually it was because he planned on whisking her onto the bed, but this time he just went and sat on the bed. His expression was typically flat. Now it was scowling, and he ran fingers through wild curly hair, still feeling that urge under his skin to rip something to pieces. "I got into a screaming match with Ellie," he explained. Direct and honest, as always. No build up or small talk required. "I don't want to look at her or talk to her any time soon." What she said, how she acted, it disgusted him. Bay didn't think they would be able to bridge that gap for awhile, and he frankly didn't care. Maybe it was a good thing summer was coming soon and the two of them had plans to leave. Distance might be exactly what he needed, except he knew it wasn't. Distance only gave him more reasons to cut himself off from the others. Healthy decisions were not their forte though. He'd take the easy route if he could. |
